When Vision of Love   saw the light of day, the 90s were shook and Mariah's mission to slay the charts began. Here are the reasons why this album is out there with one of the best. 1.  Melisma, range, whistle notes and all of that vocal power Vision of Love is the song that gave light to using melismatic singing and influenced a generation of singers for years to come.
